Caught this picture during a recent sightseeing trip to The Cranberry Glades here in WV.
WHOA! What is that??
One of the organic gardeners that know the wasp's habits can probably explain better than me - Please.
Say, don't blame it on Organic's!!! I have know idea.......I am Organic...but just don't know...
Sorry, I just think of knowing insect habits with the organic gardening bit. I'll check with my friend and get back to you all with the explanation.
I don't have my ref books with me here to help figure it out. Will have a look when back home, MK. But,,, amazingly,,, I saw something flitting around on wet lawn the other day , that looked an awful lot like im up there.
Notice the "wet" in that sentence David. They call it "dew" in these places where the morning air is in the 60's in mid summer
60's as in degrees???? Wow...It would feel great right now!!!! Also saw your new picture in the paper today.......NICE............Talk to you when you get back.......
Hi All, I'm back and crunching on deadlines right now. Will post lovely nature scenes from Connecticutt in a few days.
Gail, please ask Martin to have a look at the critter pic at the top of this thread. xoxo
Welcome Back!!!! WE....(I mean)....I missed you......Talk at you soon.....
Martin looked at it and said it was just a wasp - but he didn't know what kind. I sure was hoping for something exotic.
It looks EXOTIC to me Gail !!!!!! I think I would walk in a different direction, if I see one!!!!
