Maggies Garden Forum: Rose Board: Bloomin Luvly
By Terry on Monday, June 26, 2000 - 2:13 am: Edit Post

Managed to photograph another of my roses, didn't realise I had so many, keep telling everyone they don't grow in my garden. This one is Ballerina, mine is about three feet (90cm) tall and about five feet (1.5m wide), and at this time just one mass of blossom. It grows under my pine tree, not really shaded, but a very dry spot.

Put that heading so everyone can post their favourite flowers, not just roses, hope that's OK Maggie?

Aghhhhhhh also sorry about the double topic, didn't realise the other had posted, I put in the wrong image ref. and thought by not uploading it would cancel, can you delete it please Maggie? makes me look unprofessional....don't say another word :-)

Love the new Topic Terry, thanks! Wish I could get as good a pics as you and others on the forum, with this new digi camera. I'd get a different one, but would then risk losing my bad photography excuse ;-)
The Ballerina is one of my favorites - really am partial to singles. That's such a great shot of it and the gardener's-friend.
About the double topic, that's why you couldn't find Giverny. I won't tell if you won't.

Beautiful Rose. You even captured the spider in the pic nice and clear.

Thank you MamaKane, if I had actually noticed the spider when I took the pic I could have been proud.
You must be right Maggie, about me needing new specs ;-)

Maggie, MK, Eva, does that gorgeous rose grow here? Or is it available here?

It does great for me Caro, mine is now in its 2nd flush of the year. It's a good ol' tough one here!
