Now you’ve done it. Ya kept mucking around on Caros thread ‘til I had to give you your own pen to play in.
Have at it Crew.

……….You could feed a family of five off the slug I saw this morning (That's the tenuous gardening link).

By Nicola on Sunday, July 30, 2000 - 03:26 pm: Only a family of five Terry? We have to beat our slugs to death with a 14lb mallet!

By Maggie on Sunday, July 30, 2000 - 11:53 pm:
I'm having images of Sunday dinners of slug roasts and even worse, a Japanese styled sci fi movie of the 50's caliber, titled...
"Slugs That Came to Dinner and Ate the Hosts.
Too bad fire ants don't seem to care for slimy meals, or we could really mess up more bio-balance and send you our worst predator to tackle yours.

By Terry on Monday, July 31, 2000 - 03:45 am:
You wouldn't tackle mine with anything less than a photon torpedo, Nicola, and then only if your shields were at full strength and warp drive fully functional.

By Nicola on Monday, July 31, 2000 - 06:12 am:
Great I've found another Trekie!!! OK you might have bigger slugs then me Terry but I get you have never been beamed up onto the bridge of the Enterprise. I have so there. When we were in Las Vegas I just could not resist the Star Trek Experience, it was great. Come on, how many of you are really closet Trekies?

By David on Monday, July 31, 2000 - 03:54 pm:
Well I am a little, not as much as my brother!! So Nicola..."Beam we up, Scotty"........
I always wanted to go to that planet were the flowers spit at you and make you a hippie or something???????

By Terry on Monday, July 31, 2000 - 04:55 pm:
My wife Christine is the real Trekie in our house, I just watch to be sociable, or is it to see Seven of Nine and dream of assimulation......Sorry was someone talking about gardening.

By David on Monday, July 31, 2000 - 10:34 pm:
Hey, Terry the line for assimulation is right over here behind me (I will save you a place in line).....I have enjoyed seeing 7 of 9, I just love chatty women????

By Maggie on Monday, July 31, 2000 - 11:15 pm:
I haven't a clue as to what they are on about, but I'm sure its a terribly sexist man thing that wouldn't interest us Gals anyway, unless we could direct the assimilating. Ha. As for my answer Nicola,,, Whilst growing up in a different country every 4 years, you are always the 'alien'. Who needs sci fi when you've had to live it ;-) ?

By Carolyn Crouch Tuesday, August 1, 2000 - 06:10 am:
Have you Trekkies ever seen the Star Trek bloopers? Now those are funny! And please trek on over to your own thread! Mine takes too long to download since I don't have, can't get, probably never will have DSL.

By Your Captain on Tuesday, August 1, 2000 - 09:07 am:
I could always beam them off a here and re assimulate the unworldly communications into a new dimension for further exploration. Or is the mission complete?

By Nicola on Tuesday, August 1, 2000 - 03:41 pm:
Sorry Captain, my fault for picking up on Terry's photon torpedo antics. Somehow I don't think we need a separate Star Trek discussion page do you? Over and out.

By Terry on Tuesday, August 1, 2000 - 05:04 pm:
Not your fault Nicola, my bait was hard to resist. I Shall try to behave in future. ;-)

By Gail on Wednesday, August 2, 2000 - 07:12 am:
Please MISbehave! I love the bad boys who take risks!

By Cap'n Maggie on Wednesday, August 2, 2000 - 08:48 am:
Brazen Hussie!
When we tried to behave for while last month, this forum got really boring ;-)

By Nicola on Wednesday, August 2, 2000 - 12:32 pm:
Please Captain can you explain what behave means as I've never managed to work it out. There's a pun in there somewhere.
By the way boys, as far as 7 of 9 goes, they are not real!

By Terry on Wednesday, August 2, 2000 - 04:24 pm:
Now that! is what I call bait, Nicola!

By Maggie on Wednesday, August 02, 2000 - 7:26 pm: Edit Post

I'm still trying to work out where the pun was ?!? I thought mine were soooo bad, but you have me beat Nicola, when I can't even find it to moan at!

Welcome back to normal space Captain. What happened exactly? Did the Klingons lure you into an unstable wormhole? Perhaps it was the Cardassians sabotaging your wrap drive and trapping you in hyperspace, do tell of you adventures in another realm and of the revenge you are exacting on the perpetrators.

By Capn Maggie on Saturday, August 05, 2000 - 10:32 am: Edit Post

Must have been a worm hole - me and 700 other domains got shot into warp time and there's an interstellar techy out there looking for a new job!

I missed you guys - glad to be back on board!

Well, I for one, felt like something was missing all day! Not being able to read Terry's and David's latest quips; Nicola's latest trekkie post; etc. ... wow! Didn't realize I was so addicted to this forum!!

By Terry on Saturday, August 05, 2000 - 3:29 pm: Edit Post

Good to see you all back in normal space.
