fish-scale patterned pyracantha on the wall is a red-berried hybrid that I prefer over the species orange.
Grown in an oblique-half-circular bed, the boxwood design is composed
of the intertwined letters of `Lī and `Mī. Once it was an `open knotī, with a gap at the end of the letters. On the eve of a twenty-fifth anniversary, Larry and I installed two shrubs to close the knot.
