Many shared and purchased plants have well known histories such as the hardy amaryllis on April's COME STROLL page or the fascinating chestnut rose 'Roxburghii' story. But the most fascinating are those that have followed families and friends through the generations. Many of my garden's plants have come to me with legacies of ghost gardens and long gone gardeners who are only known to me and my benefactors. These are the tales we must all tell.
